PAYMENT TERMS: All orders must be pre-paid either by credit card, cashiers check or money order. All payments must be made or mailed to Whites Pit Stop at the address below. Any delay in prepayment or credit card authorization, will result in cancellation of your order. Notification will be made if there is a problem with a payment and an alternate means of payment must be made within 5 business days or your order will be cancelled.
BACKORDER POLICY: Even with our large inventory, backorders can occur. If this happens, we make every effort to cross-reference the part to a comparable manufacturer's line. If that is not an option and you must wait for a part, we will not charge you until that part is ready to ship to you. If the backordered item happens to be part of a larger order that has already been shipped to you, we'll pay the handling on that backordered part. Note: Product availability and shipping times may vary with manufacturers.
PREORDERS: Many items in our diecast department are preorders. Preorders are not charged to your credit card until the item is ready to ship. If preorders are placed on an order with other in-stock items, you will be charged shipping on each shipment. We try to combine shipments whenever possible to help save on shipping charges.
CANCELLATION: The customer is responsible for cancellation of any items placed on order. Orders that have already processed for shipment may not be cancelled. When orders are cancelled, a cancellation number will be supplied and recorded for future reference.
RETURN OF GOODS POLICY: All sales are final. All products distributed by Whites Pit Stop are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship. We will gladly accept defective merchandise if notified within 72 hours of receipt of the defective merchandise. Simply email us at email@example.com to obtain a RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATION (RGA) number. Write this number very large on the outside of the carton you are returning, along with a copy of the invoice or picking ticket. Any product returned without an RGA number will be refused and the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs. No COD or freight-collect shipments will be accepted. Credit will be issued for merchandise only - no refunds on handling/shipping charges.
We will replace the item free of charge if still available from our inventory. If the item is not available at that time, we will credit your account. NO RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED UNLESS AUTHORIZED. Due to the high cost of freight, Whites Pit Stop does not issue call-tags. Whites Pit Stop will not be held responsible for any freight or damages resulting in improper return procedure from a customer. This includes any damages in return transit.
WARRANTIES/DAMAGED:Inspect your shipment upon arrival! Report any damage or shipping related breakage immediately to the carrier. Used items still under manufacturers warranty may have to be inspected by a factory representative before an exchange can be authorized.
REFUSED SHIPMENTS: Any orders refused by a customer will be returned to stock in our warehouse. A 15% restocking fee, plus freight charges will be charged to your account, and you will be billed for those charges.
ORDERS OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL US: Certain shipping methods are NOT available for orders shipping outside the Continental United States.
RUSH SHIPMENTS: Because of rising UPS rates, we may notify you on large or oversize items with a corrected shipping rate for your order. At that time you may switch to standard UPS ground delivery or choose the options available to you.
